# Exporting your data

Running the company · Web app · 1 min read · updated August 13, 2026

**Download a portable JSON export of the whole company — settings, team, customers, properties, templates, quotes and audit records — and import one back to start a new company from it.**

It is your business. You can always take it with you.

## The export

One click downloads a portable **JSON export** of your whole company:

- Settings
- Your team
- Customers and properties
- Room and task templates
- Quotes
- Audit records

Not a screenshot, not a PDF, not a report — the records themselves, in a format
something else can read.

## The import

An export can be imported back: settings, templates, customers and properties
into a new company. That is useful in two situations that come up more often
than you would expect — starting fresh, and spinning up a second brand that
should begin with the library you have already spent a year tuning.

## The message log

Every email and every text the system sends — confirmations, reminders,
quotes, pay-by-links — is logged with its **outcome**. "Did that actually
send?" has an answer.

Alongside it is the company-wide activity trail: who did what, when, to which
record, pageable and filterable. See
[Team, roles and permissions](/docs/team-roles-and-permissions).

## Reports

Every report your plan includes exports to CSV in one click, and on Pro and
Business the same reports flow into Zapier or Make on a schedule. See
[The dashboard and reports](/docs/the-dashboard-and-reports).
