# Suggested visit moves

Running the company · Web and mobile · 2 min read · Updated October 17, 2026

**On Pro and Business, BlastoClean reads a customer message like "Can we do Thursday instead?" and proposes the move for one visit. Nothing changes until you approve it.**

Customers ask to move cleanings all the time: "Can you come Thursday morning
instead of Wednesday?" A suggested move turns that message into a ready-to-approve
change, so you do not have to retype the date and time.

Suggested visit moves are part of the [customer inbox](/docs/customer-conversations)
on **Pro and Business**. Office team members who can edit customers and the
schedule can use them. Crew members do not see them.

## Before you start

- AI assists must be on for your company. See [AI assists](/docs/ai-assists).
- The first time, you are asked to read and accept the AI notice. The
suggestion reads the customer's recent message, which can include personal
details. If you would rather not, decline and move the visit by hand.
- Each suggestion uses AI credits.

## Suggest and approve a move

1. Open **Messages** and select the customer's conversation.
2. In the **Suggested visit moves** box, choose the **Visit** the customer is
   asking about.
3. Select **Suggest a move**.
4. Check the original visit and the **Proposed move**, including the date, time
   and time zone.
5. Select **Approve move** to move that one visit, or **Dismiss** to leave it
   as it is.

If the message does not mention a clear new date and time, BlastoClean says so
and changes nothing.

## Days and times BlastoClean understands

Customers rarely write an exact date. BlastoClean understands:

- Day names, such as "Friday". "Move Thursday's clean to Friday" means the
Friday right after that visit, and "move Friday's clean to Thursday" means the
  day before it.
- "Tomorrow".
- Parts of the day: morning (8 AM to 12 PM), afternoon (12 PM to 5 PM) and
evening (5 PM to 8 PM). BlastoClean keeps the visit's current start time if it
fits. If not, it suggests 9 AM in the morning, 1 PM in the afternoon or 5 PM in
the evening, or else the first half hour that doesn't overlap the crew's other
  visits that day.

Spanish messages work the same way. Always check the proposed date and time
before you approve.

## What approval does

Approval moves only that visit. The crew stays the same and the rest of a
recurring schedule is unchanged. No message goes to the customer, so reply in
the conversation to confirm the new time.

Before it moves anything, BlastoClean checks again that the time is still free
and that nothing has changed. If the customer sent a newer message, the visit
changed or the time was taken, you are asked to refresh and review a fresh
suggestion. Approving twice never moves the visit twice.

## On the native app

In versions with these controls, open the customer's conversation from their
customer page. The suggestion card uses the same review and approval steps,
permissions and Pro/Business requirement as the web. A suggestion is a draft;
review it before approval. If access or the conversation changes, reopen and
review the current record instead of approving an old draft.

See [Native version availability](/docs/the-mobile-app).
