iPhone and Android
The whole company, at somebody’s front door
The BlastoClean companion app is native on iPhone and Android — one codebase, native rendering, and layouts for phones and tablets in every orientation. It signs in to the same company as the web app, talks to the same API and obeys the same permissions, so there is no “phone version” of a quote to reconcile later.
The app is free with every plan, and the account you create on the web is the one you sign in with on the phone. Store listings are in progress — ask us and we will tell you exactly where they are.
iPhone and iPad
Native rendering, a two-pane layout on iPad, and Tap to Pay on supported iPhones.
Coming to the App Store
Android phones and tablets
Native rendering, the same two-pane tablet layout, and contactless card payments on NFC devices.
Coming to Google Play
Five tabs, and the whole job is in them
The bottom bar is the app. Every screen here is the real one, captured from a working account.
Schedule
The week’s visits with payment status on every row, filterable to one person, and every visit action: confirm, reschedule, complete, no-show, cancel and reassign.
Quotes
The full quote lifecycle from the phone, the leads inbox badged with how many people are still waiting to hear back, and Magic Quote.
Customers
Search, and a customer’s properties, quotes, visits and payment history.
Dashboard
The owner’s numbers riding along: collected, accepted and awaiting work, the week ahead, and what needs attention.
Settings
The app lock, the company’s payment methods, calendar feeds and the rest — changed here or on the web, it is the same setting.
Getting paid
Take the card while you are still standing there
Tap to Pay turns the phone itself into the terminal on supported iPhones and NFC Android devices, or the hosted card page opens with the customer watching. Cash, checks and bank transfers go on the same ledger in two taps — and those work with no processor connected at all, because getting paid should not wait on a Stripe onboarding form.
- Tap to Pay on supported iPhones and NFC Android devices
- Or open the hosted card page on the phone, with the customer watching
- Cash, checks and bank transfers recorded with no processor connected at all
- Tips asked once, up front, where your company offers them
- Card numbers reach neither the app nor our servers, in any mode
Magic Quote
Walk the property. Let the walk write the quote.
Tap Start, then take photos and record voice notes while you talk to the customer — nothing has to be categorized in the moment. The server organizes the walkthrough into rooms and reviewable claims afterwards, and prices the draft entirely from your own library.
- Photos, voice notes and typed lines, captured in any order
- Start with nobody on file — the walk proposes the customer record afterwards
- Every capture carries an id the server dedupes on, so one bar of signal cannot duplicate a photo
- Room Check has to pass before anything can be generated
- Photos load through your session, never a public URL
Winning the work
Say yes on their behalf, then book it in the same breath
A customer who says yes at the door should not have to wait for an email to arrive. Accept the quote for them from the phone — the app asks first, and keeps the record of who did it — and the booking form opens with the job already in it.
- Accept on the customer’s behalf, recorded as exactly that
- The booking form opens pre-filled with the customer, property and job
- Copy the customer’s confirmation link and send it however they prefer
- A customer’s change request arrives with their message attached to the visit
Recurring work
Book the rhythm before you leave the driveway
One-time, weekly, biweekly or monthly — by day of the month or by the nth weekday — with slot suggestions drawn from the crew’s real free/busy week and an availability grid in the property’s own timezone.
- Slot suggestions from the crew’s actual availability
- Nothing can be booked on top of anything else
- Pause, resume or end a series from the phone
- Rule changes replace only the future visits nobody has touched
Your calendar
The schedule turns up where you already look for it
Mint an iCal feed for the whole company, or one for a single cleaner, from the phone. The URL is shown once — exactly as on the web — and can be revoked the moment you want it gone.
- Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar all subscribe to the same feed
- One feed per person, so a cleaner sees only their own visits
- Revoke a link and it stops working immediately
On a tablet
Not the phone layout, stretched
On an iPad or an Android tablet the app is not the phone layout stretched: the bottom tab bar becomes a rail down the side, the list gets the whole width, and where there is room a list and the thing you picked from it sit side by side.
- The tab bar becomes a side rail, and the content takes the rest
- A list and its detail side by side where the screen allows it
- Portrait and landscape, on phones and tablets alike
- The same app, the same account, the same rules
An iPad in landscape: the tabs move to a rail on the left. The same build on a ten-inch Android tablet.
One codebase, two platforms
The same screens, drawn on Android
One Dart codebase, rendered natively on each platform — not a mock-up and not a skin. These two are the real Android build of the schedule and the quotes list this page showed you on an iPhone further up, at Android’s own aspect ratio.
- One Dart codebase, rendered natively on each platform
- The same account, the same permissions, the same prices
- Every screen laid out for the device it is actually on
The week on an Android phone. And the quotes list.
A phone left on a counter is a different problem from a laptop in an office
So the app is built for the place it is actually used.
Biometric app lock
Face ID, Touch ID or Android biometrics, with the device passcode as the fallback for the times a fingerprint will not read.
The session lives in the keychain
Not in a file. The session is held in the platform keychain or keystore — the same place the operating system keeps its own secrets.
One set of permissions
The phone enforces the same roles the web app does, because it is the same server enforcing them. There is no mobile exception to who may do what.
Card numbers go nowhere near it
In every payment mode the card data goes from the reader or the hosted page straight to the processor. It reaches neither the app nor our servers.
Questions people ask about the app
- Do I need a separate account for the app?
- No. The app signs in with the same email and password as the web app, to the same company, and talks to the same API. You can also register a brand-new company from the phone if you would rather start there.
- Does the app cost extra?
- No. It is included with every plan, the free one included. What a plan changes is what the account can do — on the phone and on the web equally.
- Can my cleaners use it without seeing the whole company?
- Yes. Roles are enforced by the server, so a cleaner on the phone sees exactly what a cleaner on the web sees: their own week, the visits they are on, and nothing else.
- Can I take a card payment without a card reader?
- Yes. Tap to Pay makes the phone the reader on supported iPhones and NFC Android devices. Where that is not offered, the app opens the hosted card page instead — and cash, checks and bank transfers can be recorded even with no payment account connected at all.
- Do prices work out differently on the phone?
- They cannot. Every price is computed on the server, by the same endpoints the web builder uses, and the phone shows the totals it is handed back.
- Where do I download it?
- Store listings are in progress. In the meantime, start a free trial on the web: the account you create is the one the app signs in to, so nothing has to be set up twice.
