Staff notification preferences

When an owner or manager publishes a staff announcement, the people it is for see it in Staff and in their notification bell. Each person can also choose to get an email when a new announcement is posted. Staff notifications are included with Pro and Business.

Turn on email copies

1. Open Staff, then select Notification settings.
2. Tick Email me a copy of new staff announcements.
3. Select Save preferences and wait for Preferences saved.

To stop the emails, clear the tick and save again.

This choice is yours alone and applies at every location you work at. A manager cannot turn it on for you. Email copies start turned off, and turning them on does not send announcements that were posted before.

What the email contains

The email is a short notice with a link to sign in. The announcement itself stays in Staff, so private details never sit in an inbox. Time-off reasons and private documents are never included.

Getting a notification does not mark an announcement as read or acknowledged. Open Staff and use Mark as read or Acknowledge for that.

Good to know

• People who leave the team or lose access to a location stop getting these emails.
• Push notifications are separate from these email preferences. In native builds configured for push, delivery also requires the server setup and this phone's permission. See Notification settings and Native version availability.
• If your preferences do not load, select Refresh. If saving cannot be confirmed, select Retry saving.

On the native app

Native versions with Staff include this workflow too. Open Staff for time off, documents and notification preferences; Visit offers is also available from native Settings or the Crew menu. The same Pro/Business, location and role rules apply. These actions need an internet connection; keep a pending draft open and use its offered retry if the result is unknown.
