Photo quotes

Share your photo link and customers send photos of their home without an account; on Pro the photos are read and priced from your own library, and you send a firm price or a range, in one click when the risk is low.
Some customers will not wait for a walkthrough, and some jobs are not worth one. Photo quotes let a customer show you the home from their phone, and let you answer with a price while they are still deciding who to call.
The photo link
Photo quotes use your quote request link, one step further: if your request
page is /r/your-link, your photo page is /r/your-link/photos. Find it, copy
it and switch it on or off in Settings > Photo quotes. Share it on your
website, in your email signature, and in your replies to anybody who asks "how
much?" See Quote requests from your website
for the request link itself.
The customer:
- Leaves a name, an email address and the address of the home. The price is emailed, so the email address is required. They can also add a phone number, the type of home, how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has, and a note.
- Adds photos from their phone. The page shrinks each one before sending it, uploads them one at a time, and shows the rooms you ask for: the kitchen and every bathroom, unless you change that. Until they tap Send, they can take any photo back out, even after reloading the page.
- Taps Send and gets an email saying the photos arrived and when to expect a price.
They never make an account or download an app. The page is in English or Spanish, following their browser. Starter takes up to 15 photos per request, and Pro and Business take up to 30.
On Starter: photos in your request inbox
Each submission arrives as a quote request like any other, marked Photo quote, with its photos on the card. Convert it and price it the usual way, or with Quick Quote. Nothing reads the photos for you on Starter.
On Pro: read, priced and waiting for you
On Pro and Business the photos are read before you see them:
- Each photo is tagged with the room it shows, how dirty it looks, and anything that changes the work, like a well-used oven or pets. A photo that shows a person or a document is kept out of everything after that, and stays blurred until you choose to look at it.
- The tags become rooms from your room library, with how many, how big and how dirty. Every room points at the photos it came from.
- Your pricing engine prices those rooms at your rates, exactly as if you had added them to a quote yourself. The AI never writes a number that becomes a price.
- A risk score says how much the photos leave to guesswork. See Firm prices and risk.
Reading uses AI credits: 3 for each batch of up to three photos, and 4 to turn the tags into rooms, so a ten-photo home is about 16 credits. Reading sends the photos to Anthropic, the AI service BlastoClean uses, and the upload page tells your customer so before they add any. The photos are read only once an owner has accepted how AI is used, in the notice the app shows. Until then, and whenever AI is off or the month's credits are spent, the photos still reach you, unread. Photos sent from a page that didn't say AI reads them are never read, even once reading is on: price those yourself. See AI assists.
The Photo quotes queue
Quotes > Photo quotes lists everyone waiting for a price, soonest promise first, and refreshes on its own. Each card shows the photos, the home in one line ("3 bedrooms · 2 bathrooms · about 1,500 to 1,800 sq ft"), the price, a risk badge and a clock:
- Low risk (green): clear photos, and everything you require is there.
- Check first (amber): worth a look before you send.
- High risk (red): too uncertain for a firm price. Send a range, or ask to see the home.
On a Low risk card, Send firm price and Send range send it in one step. Any other card is sent from its review, where you can see what made it riskier. Review opens the photo quote.
Reviewing one
The photos are on the left; tap one to see it large. On the right is what was read: each room with how many, how big and how dirty, and the photos behind it. Change any of those and the price and the risk are worked out again at once. If the photos missed a room you know is there, add it from your library; if they missed a task a room needs, like the inside of the oven, add it from that room's own list.
Then choose one of four:
- Send firm price. The engine's price, with your firm-price terms.
- Send range. The price plus and minus your range width, confirmed when you arrive. Once the customer accepts, its visits are booked without a price, and completing one asks you for its final price.
- Ask for more photos. Tick what you need, add a note, and the customer gets an email with a link back to the same upload. You can ask twice.
- Book a walkthrough. The customer is told you would like to see the home first, and the request stays in your inbox to book the visit from.
Sending creates the customer, the property and the quote, the same way Convert does in the request inbox, and emails the customer the quote link. On the quote the customer reads, Firm price or Price range sits next to the number. They accept it online like any other quote; see Sending a quote.
The clock
Every photo quote carries a promise: an answer within 30 minutes during your working hours, unless you change it in Settings > Photo quotes. Photos that arrive while you are closed are due that long after you open, and the customer's email says when that is. If the time runs out during working hours, the customer gets one email saying their price is on its way, and you get a notification.
Try it on the sample house
Every plan, Free included, can open the sample house: from the card on Quotes, or with Try the sample house on the Photo quotes queue. It is six photos of a drawn home, read and priced with your own library and rates. Nothing in it is a real customer, and it uses no credits.
How long the photos are kept
Photos are deleted 90 days after the customer last sent photos, or after you last asked them for more, together with the details they sent with them, unless the customer accepted the quote they priced; then they stay with that quote. An upload the customer started and never sent closes after a day, so nothing more can be added to it, and is deleted 90 days after it was started.
