AI assists

Web app2 min readUpdated

AI drafts, sorts and summarizes — quotes from website leads, inbound texts, task-time suggestions, the weekly digest and follow-up copy — but your pricing engine computes every price and a person confirms everything a customer sees.

Where AI is allowed to help — drafting, sorting and suggesting — and where it is deliberately not.

The AI section of Settings

AI assists are on every paid plan. Starter, Pro and Business differ in how many AI credits a month you get; the Free plan has none. The one exception is Magic Quote, which is Pro and above because a walkthrough uses far more of that allowance than anything here.

The line

Before the list, the rule that shapes all of it:

AI proposes, it never decides. The deterministic pricing engine computes every price from your own task library, and a person confirms everything a customer sees. AI can suggest a room, a task or a time — it can never invent one, and it can never send anything on its own.

What it does

Draft quotes from your website leads. Your public request-a-quote page and widget accept up to five photos. The visitor's message and photos are read, and a draft quote is pre-filled with rooms and tasks from your own library — not from a general idea of what a property needs. You review and price every line.

A text inbox that sorts itself. When a customer texts back — "can we move Friday?" — the message is filed and labelled: confirming, reschedule, cancel or question. No auto-replies. No automatic rescheduling. A person still acts on every message.

Estimates that learn. The app already compares estimated with actual visit time. From that comparison it suggests bounded adjustments to your task times, which you accept or dismiss one at a time. Quotes you have already sent never change; only the ones you send next get sharper.

A Monday-morning digest. A weekly email with the pipeline, money collected, the week ahead and what needs attention — the same numbers as your dashboard, with a short summary on top.

Copy that saves you the blank page. Drafts of:

  • a personalised quote follow-up email (the link and the subject stay put)
  • a "before you arrive" briefing on the printable work order
  • a review request after a completed, paid visit — only once you have set your review link
  • a reply to a review

Send any of them as drafted, or edit first.

Answers to "how do I…", right where you are. The help assistant answers support questions inside the app, grounded in this documentation and linking the article with the longer answer. Unlike everything above, it is on every plan — Free included — and uses no credits: asking for help is never metered work.

Switching it off

AI assists are configured in Settings, and a deployment with no AI provider configured simply has them off — the features disappear rather than failing strangely. Nothing else in the product depends on them.
