The paper calendar preview

Paper is available by default for owners and managers, subject to plan and permissions. Your usual calendar view stays unchanged. Every booking still requires your confirmation. Contact hello@blastoclean.com with questions.

Make a pencil mark

Open Paper when it is available in your account. Choose a day in the week or month, draw if you like, and type the customer name and time. For example, Smith 9am or Pérez 3pm mar. Drawing stays beside the typed text. Keyboard entry is supported on the web.

The web and Android use typed interpretation. iPad handwriting support is awaiting iOS build and device validation; recognition speed and accuracy have not been verified. Where supported, a short pause after writing saves a pencil proposal, not a booking. If recognition is unavailable or finds no usable text, type the name and time.

In week view, choose a position on the 6 AM to 8 PM ruler for a half-hour time hint. A time written in the text takes precedence. The owner can open Paper settings to choose the default visit length, English or Spanish recognition, and whether a finger also draws on iPad. Whiteboard themes and crew viewing remain later phases.

Review before booking

A pencil mark is a proposal. Choose the right customer when several names match. Review the property, time and crew in the existing booking form, then confirm. Paper does not invent property addresses. Existing permissions and conflict checks apply. Follow the booking form's availability suggestions if a time is taken.

This phase books one visit at a time. Words such as every Tue or cada martes stay as hints, not automatic recurring schedules. Use the existing schedule editor for recurring work.

Free sketch week

When Paper is enabled, Free includes the current ISO week in the company's timezone and 10 active pencil marks across the company. Old pencil marks still count. Free can turn marks into customers and empty draft quotes, with pricing completed in the existing quote editor. Starter unlocks booking and other weeks. Existing visits are not deleted when a company changes plans.

Erase and move

On the web, erase an unconverted pencil mark and use Undo within eight seconds. The server restore window is 30 seconds and still enforces the active-mark cap. Open a booked visit's usual management panel to review and confirm cancellation. Erasing a pencil mark never silently cancels a visit.

Drag a web pencil mark to another day. Moving a visit asks for confirmation and preserves its local start time. The future-visits option opens the existing series editor for review. The date field gives keyboard users a way to move pencil marks without dragging.

Names are suggestions, including likely spelling matches. Review the customer and real property label. If initials match more than one active team member, choose each person explicitly before reviewing the booking.

Enable Erase gestures to scribble back and forth over a mark with at least three direction reversals. Pencil marks offer Undo. Booked visits open the usual cancellation confirmation. Canceled ink fades and stays visible for the company-local cancellation day. This gesture does not provide handwriting recognition or verify Apple Pencil hardware support.

Offline and later phases

The mobile app saves submitted pencil marks on the device with stable IDs and retries them on reconnect. Booking requires an online review. The web retains an unsent draft locally until the server acknowledges it. Review errors such as the Free cap before retrying.

AI handwriting cleanup, photo import and advanced Android ink are not available in this preview. See wall-calendar photo import status.
