Using BlastoClean in ChatGPT and Claude

Paste one address into ChatGPT or Claude and sign in, and you can ask about your schedule, customers, quotes and numbers or have it draft a quote, while it can never send, charge, book or delete anything.
If you already use ChatGPT or Claude, you can bring BlastoClean into the conversation. Ask what is on tomorrow, who still owes you money or which quotes are waiting on a customer, and get the answer from your own account. Or describe a job and have it draft the quote for you.
There is nothing to install and no key to copy. You paste one address into the assistant, sign in to BlastoClean, and approve.
What you can ask
- "What's on the schedule tomorrow?" You get visits, times, addresses, who asked to move.
- "How did we do this month?" You get the same figures as your dashboard and reports: quotes won, money collected, the week ahead, what needs attention.
- "Who owes us money?" You get open balances and how long they have been owed.
- "Which quotes are still waiting on a customer?" You get quotes that are sent, viewed or expiring.
- "Any new quote requests?" You get the leads from your website form, with their messages.
- "Add a customer: Maria Lopez, 42 Pine Street…" It checks for an existing customer with the same email or phone first.
- "Draft a quote for Maria: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, deep clean." The quote is built from your own rooms and tasks and priced by BlastoClean, exactly as if you had built it yourself.
- "When could we fit a three-hour clean next week?" You get open times from your own schedule and working hours.
Every answer that points at a record comes with a link that opens it in BlastoClean.
What it can never do
The assistant cannot send anything to your customers, take or refund a payment, book a visit, or delete anything. A quote it drafts stays a draft until you open it and send it yourself. Prices always come from your own rates and task times: the assistant can choose rooms, never prices.
That line is deliberate. An assistant reads text other people wrote, such as a lead's message, and that text could try to tell it what to do. Because the most it can ever do is add a record or a draft for you to check, nothing reaches a customer without you.
The assistant may ask for approval according to its permissions and the action. Review any customer or quote draft in BlastoClean before using it.
Before you start
- Any paid plan. It comes with Starter, Pro and Business, and with your free trial. It isn't part of the Free plan.
- Everyone connects their own. Office roles can connect their own ChatGPT or Claude, and it works as them: it sees and does only what their role allows. An estimator's assistant doesn't see your reports, and a read-only team member's can't add or draft anything. See team roles and permissions.
- One location at a time. If you run more than one location, the connection works in the location you are in when you approve it.
Connect Claude
- Copy the address from BlastoClean Settings → ChatGPT & Claude.
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it BlastoClean, enter the address and follow the OAuth sign-in prompts.
- Review access and connect. Enable the connector from the chat's + → Connectors menu.
Team and Enterprise organizations need an authorized owner to add it first; then each member connects individually. Follow Claude's current connector guidance if the setup screens differ.
Connect ChatGPT
- Copy the address from BlastoClean Settings → ChatGPT & Claude.
- In ChatGPT web, open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server where your account or workspace permits it.
- Enter the address, choose OAuth, review the warning and create the plugin. Install it and sign in to BlastoClean when prompted.
- Select it with @ in a chat. A workspace administrator may need to approve or publish it first.
Some accounts still use Apps → Create and Scan Tools instead. Available tools and setup permissions depend on your ChatGPT plan and workspace policy. See OpenAI's current setup guidance.
Disconnecting
Open Settings, then ChatGPT & Claude, and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. It stops working immediately. An owner sees everyone's connections there, with whose each one is, and can disconnect any of them.
You can also remove BlastoClean from the assistant's own settings, and reconnect later the same way you connected the first time.
Questions
Does it use my AI credits? No. The assistant's own AI does the work. The AI assists built into BlastoClean are separate and keep their own monthly allowance.
Can my staff connect their own? Yes. Each person connects their own assistant, and it is limited to what their role allows. An owner can see and disconnect everyone's in Settings.
What does the assistant see? Its permitted tools can return company records within the scopes, role and location you approved. Those responses go to the assistant's provider. What ChatGPT or Claude keeps is governed by your agreement and settings with that provider, separately from BlastoClean's built-in AI assists. See Privacy.
It says the connection does not work anymore. If your plan changed, the assistant will say so, and an owner can change the plan in Settings. Otherwise, disconnect and connect again.
