Dispatch Radio for crews

On the crew phone, Dispatch Radio reads open jobs out loud. Tap to claim. The house number and access notes stay off the radio until the job is yours. Calls and texts are not how you claim yet.

This page is for the people doing the work. It is short on purpose, so it can be printed and left in the van. It covers house cleans and office cleans.

The office guide is Dispatch Radio. The rest of the phone schedule is in The schedule on your phone.

What you hear

When the channel is on air, the phone reads the open jobs. A house and an office sound the same kind of way:

"Job 1. 9 AM, Oak Street, two hours. Tap to claim."

You also hear when a job is taken, and a short voice note from the office when they send one.

How you claim

Open the Radio tab. The claim button is the large one. Tap it for the job that is playing. The app is not in the App Store or on Google Play yet. It is coming soon. The Radio tab is in that app.

If you are already booked then, the button says so and does not send the claim.

If the office set the job to wait for approval, your tap asks them. You will hear when they say yes or no.

The first valid claim wins, unless the office is approving each one.

What you do not hear

The radio does not say the house number, the customer name, gate codes, or access notes. Those are on the visit after the job is yours. Until then, you hear the time, the street, and how long it is.

If you cannot hear it

Every line the radio speaks is also written under the player. Read that list if the volume is down, if you are somewhere you cannot play sound, or if you cannot hear the audio. The words are the same as the recording.

Calls and texts

A phone call that reads the jobs, and a text you answer with the job number, are not available yet. They are planned for Pro. Today, claim in the app.

Questions go to the office, or to hello@blastoclean.com.
